Did they ever have an option for a black interior for the later year 87-90 suburbans or blazers I have never seen one. If so i am looking for the passenger roof handle in black and the visor clips if you know where i can find them i have tried LMC and local junk yard but no luck

If LMC doesn't have that color, it prolly doesn't exist. Try ClassicParts.com also. If no one has it, you might end up buying one and dyeing it black.

Lmc doesn't carry those parts but they carry other pats in that color. I will try the other place you recommended. What do you mean about dying the them. How dose that work. I temporarily painted the visor clips but the scrap the paint off when i put the visors in. Thanks For the reply

Well i found the visor clips i was looking for except they only offer them in blue and beige and i know their where more color option than that. they have them listed as part number 25-1912

you can dye stuff a certain color, plastics and such, not sure about handles though. Black might be a hard color to dye, might come out gray until a few coats are done.

I've never done it before, just throwing the idea out there. It's a watery type of substance that changes the material a color, not just paints over it.

i'll have to do a little research on that sounds like a good solution. I have done a little experimenting with dying but it was a terrible experience and didn't hold up but it was cheap **** for like leather

I've had real good success using vinyl paint. The key is to make sure they pieces you want to change the color on are ABSOLUTELY CLEAN. It works best if you can bead blast the pieces first to get rid of any dirt/grime and to give a nice texture for the vinyl paint to adhere to.

Ya it's looking like that is the route im going to take i guess it seems that all black interior pieces are aftermarket so i'm not going to find them Thanks For the reply's though
