84 K2500 dual tanks. 3 lines on drivers side tank sender. Looks like 1 line is capped.

This is some kind of factory vent vs a plug jammed in there, yes? Just want to make sure I need a 3 line sender.

Thanks!

posted many times before but here ya go again .

3/8" = feed
5/16" = return
1/4" = vent to charcoal can on coresupport

someone did a real short vent on yours is all . thats a factory looking axle breather plastic vent thingy .

Thanks brother.

The valve definitely looked stock, the hose arangment.. not so much.

I get a hint of fumes from time to time. Wonder if I should relocate the valve.

yep factory it would go up the frame on hard line to a charcoal can . then at some point they sucked the air off the can threw the carb/efi and burnt it .

Even on the K5, with the tank vented back near the taillights, I can smell gas at times. My take on this is that charcoal canister is the best way to vent the fuel tanks. I guess it wasn't a huge problem or cars pre-70's would have been blowing up left and right, but I'm not comfortable with that heavy of gas fumes.
