how important is it that the shock eyes are parallel to each other? i.e. the upper and lower mounting bolts both pointing from front to back on the truck. if i built new lower front shock mounts would it matter if the lower end of the shock is turned 90* from the upper?

Besides potential bushing wear, I can't see it making a difference. And shock bushings are cheap.
