I'm installing my Dana 60 and crossover. I've got WFO springless steering arms, which I ordered reamed for drag link ends, a 4" pitman arm from ORD which I assume is reamed for drag links ends, two tie rod ends and two drag link ends.

Here's my problem. The drag link ends, don't fit any of the holes I've got on my axle or the pitman arm. The drag link ends are the longer ones, according to WFO's website. It's been months since I ordered them. Am I doing/seeing things wrong or is everything reamed for tie rod ends? Which is fine, except for the fact that I've got $60 worth of drag link ends here that I can't use and I'm short two tie rod ends.

maybe it's just like that but on my Moog ends the boot goes around the body more. Meaning, the big end stretches around the body more, leaving less of the small end around the taper. Come to think of it, mine are just hard rubber donuts while yours look like thin boots.

The boots are different from some others but the taper is what i was talking about.
It seems like everything I have is reamed for tie rod ends. I'm gonna call WFO tomorrow and see if I can send the drag link ends back for some tie rod ends.
Oh well, this way I only need to keep one spare since everything matches. It just threw me off when the crossover arm and pitman arm both fit the tie rod ends instead of the drag link ends.

We almost never use draglink ends, they're easier to bend and they're so long that they often cause interference issues with crossmembers etc.

So unless you specifically asked for draglink taper, we use the tie rod end taper. It's the same 1.5"/ft reamer, the draglink taper is just cut a little deeper.
