I would think that set up would work as long as it is from a big block.

thats not what you want.

you want something like an Impco 425 or OHG 450 mixer. Impco model E vaporizer and a VFF30 lockoff.

for a bigblock. not that dual fuel garbage.

I agree a 425 would be better, but this would work to get him going. That 300 mixer will be a little underpowered, but only on the top end. It will work fine for daily driving and very well off road. You don't need the spark box as that is for a TBI engine and adjusts the timing when in propane mode. You might have to find a different adapter from that 300 to your carburetor. If you do, PM me. I think I still have a box of various adapters.

Well I ended up grabbing it, hopefully it will work out for me. I will keep you guys updated.


Oh, and this is an off road only truck, so I am not too worried about top end performance.
