quiet good tone muffler?

im getting a bit sick of my flowmaster 40s, thinking about the 50s suv perfomance, but still dont know. so what are u guys suggestions. I want something quiet but with a good sound to it. going down the freeway listening to my exhaust gets a bit old.

I've heard the Borla XS series flows good and is a lot quieter.
Gibson's and the regular Borla's are also known for being quiet.

I had a Magnaflow on my Ranger a few years back. Was surprisingly quiet with that 4.0L V6.

my truck doesnt have any cats on it either which probably adds a little bit

Definitely.

Then again 40 series are about as loud as you can make a muffler without them being race mufflers.

went from 2 40's and 3" tail pipes to single 50 suv with 2.5" tails. this is on a crew cab. much better and still a nice little note. a LOT less droan on the cab side of it also.

I just got a 70series Flow and it still has a nice tone to it. Talking in the cab now not yelling anymore.

quite honestly i'd be really happy if i could barely hear the exhaust at this point. i dont really need the extra attention either.
my exhaust currently is 2 1/4 pipe dual exhaust.
