Quik 14 bolt ??

what are the breaks for 14ff carriers as far as sizes? i just broke the POS gov-lok and need to replace the carrier. i am currently running 4.56s and the other carriers i have only have 4.10s on them. what carrier do i need to look for?

I think 4.10 is the carrier split so you'd need the 4.56 and up carrier and I don't think they are very common

damn it what to do now? is there any way to take apart a gov-lok and just weld it up?

Do you ahve the 4.56 gears for the 14ff yet? If not get thick gears.

On welding a Gov-lock.. Never had one apart so I am not sure. MAybe split the case and post up pics of the insides. I am sure with everyone here we can come up with something!

ya the 4.56 gears came on the gov-lok but im still looking for an option(fast and cheap)

not sure if they make them for the 14ff carriers but what about a ring gear spacer

Another option other than welding the gov-lock or finding a new carrier woudl be to see if a company makes a ring gears spacer..??.. That way you could use the 4.10 carrier....
