Looking to pull my old window out of the 82 cab, and replace it with my new slider, as well as replace the weather stripping at the same time. Any tips? :D

Use lots of soapy water solution and you'll be fine. Do you know about the rope trick?

When you have the glass or slider window inside the rubber seal you'll take maybe a 1/4" diameter rope and run it in the seal groove on the outside and leave enough rope for you to pull on. Now set the window into place and using the soapy solution spray it heavily around the rubber seal while you start pulling the ropes (one at a time is fine) this will bring the rubber over the edge of the steel cab. Just be careful when you get to the corners. You may need to also have someone carefully help you push here and there as you go.

I think I get it, thanks Scott, I'll give it a shot!

My rear window seal was a little different, much like the front windsheild in the fact that the seal has a backer rod like piece of rubber that locks the seal up against the glass.I removed the center section of rubber which happened to have a brittle chrome on it to "unlock" the glass, and was then able to push the glass out from the seal which stayed on the cab.
Reverse to reinstall. The trick that 4x4high describes is how i do it for a one piece seal, but may work on a 2 piece if you put the seal on the glass before you put it on the flange on the cab.I've just never tried.

I believe the seal is a regular one piece. Any tips for removing the window? I figure I'll just spray the crap out of it with some soapy water and see what corner gives first
