My cheap chinesium gauges are now suspect, cant get flow through either of the car-side quick connects. Wont read current pressures or flow the other direction to fill.

So looking for a set that people have used, and work properly.

Well I have horror freight set, been pretty good. Just that mine are 15 to 20 years old, so you know as well as i that HF quality changes

I am considering them. They look pretty identical to the chinesium one I got a dozen years ago. Considered the icon as well. Big jump in price. Seen a couple of reviews on yellowjacket brand as favorable. Think the hoses and manifold assy I have are ok, but just the qd fittings plugged or something. They've always given me fits. Thought about doing just qd fittings alone..

the qd fitting do require maintenance. New o rings, both sides. The manifold hose side seal/oring could be closing off the flow.

My old Snap on r12 set the low side stem leaks and has restricted the flow. Of course no parts available to fix I mean they are only 40ish years old, should be able to repair still.
