let's see i only had my blazer running at it's limits 2 times that i can remember.
1st time was coming down a long hill following a freinds new toyata t 100 (yes, this was several years ago). i was on his a** the whole way down the hill. when we stopped a few miles down the road he said he had his toy floored and was over 100 mph.
2nd time was trying to pass some idiot in a car. every time i went to pass him he would speed up when i got next to him, so i would drop back behind him, only for him to slow down again. after 2-3 times doing this i kept the foot to the floor and we went at it (keep in mind this is on a one lane each direction highway). so here we are racing along with me in the on coming traffic lane doing around 90+. well he finally gave up and let me pass after i went onto the opposite shoulder, never letting up on gas pedal, to avoid on coming car.
i think i scared the s*it out of myself more than him
you are only young and stupid once, it's a good thing i lived and learned
oh then there was the time i had a toyata v6 ext cab going around 100mph. went across a bridge and the wind must have lifted the truck and put me in the other lane. i had to wipe myself after that one
4x4 trucks were not made to run high speeds. these days i keep it under 80 when driving a truck, now my ta is a differant story
