I have a chance to buy a new Fluidyne aluminum rad for less than half price, but it measures 28.5 x 18 x 2.25. I believe that is slightly smaller than stock right?

Any opinions whether is would be effective enough a cooler being slightly smaller (if it actually is).

It is a two row, double pass. The model is "Sportsman", Part no. FRR34315-16 at

ttt for the night crew.

Can anyone confirm the stock size?

Since I originally posted I began to wonder what the LARGEST is that will fit in our trucks, any thoughts on that?

I don't know the stock size of the top of my head, but want to say it's pretty close to that one. You should expect a nice drop in temps going to alum. I've gone from a 4 row brass to a 2 row alum in my bb car before and it dropped almost 40*.

Thanks, I think you are right the stock size is pretty close I think. I still haven't found any info confirming it though. If they are that efficient the slight size difference likely won't matter.

stockers are 28" x 17" or 19", so other than mounting it'd probably cool fine, at least for a sb...

Fluidyne makes nice stuff...
