Ok, time for new radiator. Anybody do business with these guys? The price sounds great but I'm kinda worries about the (you get what you pay for) rule.

Thats the same reason I buy mine localHarryH3 said:I found that Autozone prices were actually pretty close to radiator.com. So I bought it locally, so if there's ever a problem I won't have to mess with shipping a radiator back. I just bought a 3-row with trans cooler for my '90 Sub for $149.
I got a 4 core from Advanced Auto with a lifetime warranty for just under $200.. It's bad enough when a new radiator that you just installed quits and you have to take it back out but having no truck while your dealing with shipping issues is a pain in the ass.. Then you have to not only wait on a replacement but more than likely have to pay shipping cost as well..koldsimer said:I knew I had heard something bad about them before. Oh yeah, if you get the one from auto zone, it's much easier to replace it the same day if needed. My dumba$$ ruined my first radiator from AZ when the fan got into it. They replaced it no questions asked.

I put a 4 core in a 84 and the original brackets will not fit over the new one because it's too thick..The 4 core is the same size other than that.. You can get new brackets and shroud at the dealer so they should have the rubber bottom mounts too.. To find the right one for your truck it would be best to go to the store and get them to look it up..bridgeguy said:I've been looking through the forum search and I've found conflicting stuff stating that a 4-core fits without any need for a new upper support bracket and other posts that state that there is a different bracket needed.
My radiator came from them over 3 years ago. I was stationed in Las Vegas, Nv at the time and I lucked out because they had a wharehouse there, so I saved on shipping. I haven't had the slightest problem with it since I put it in.digity said:Ok, time for new radiator. Anybody do business with these guys? What part number did you use? I would like to get a 4 core for my 84 Blazer. Also did it swap right in or did it take new brackets?koldsimer said:I got my 4 row radiator from auto zone and I have had no problems. I have heard a bunch of horror stories about one particular online radiator specialist, but I can't remember if it's these guys or not. I'm sure somebody will chime in with who it is.
