OK, another question.

'95 GMC Yukon GT, 350, 238,000 miles.

I'm leaking coolant around the bung (fitting) in the radiator tank for the top engine oil cooler line. It's actually appears to be oozing out between the stamped metal piece and the tank.

It's not a super fast leak, but it's definitely there and leaving drips everywhere I park. I want to get it fixed since this is my DD and I put a lot of miles on it.

Is there anything I can do to fix this without replacing the whole stinking radiator? Can it be tightened or sealed?

(I already ran the GM cooling system tabs through it a while back)

Thanks again for any help,

-Ben

tighten it, it is a nut, and on the inside of the tank is the sealing washer, tighten it and see if it goes away, they come loose often, if it still doesn't stop, take it to a rad shop and they shoul be able to fix it. I've also seen them crack right there too.

Cool,

I wondered if I might be able to tighten it. But didn't want to crank on it before checking here.

I'll give it a shot this weekend.

Thanks,

-Ben
