try that on a 73 vette . . . what a p.i.t.a that was . had to pull the shroud to get upper control arms out . . .
My factory shrouds have staples holding the two halves together. I pull the staples out and drill holes so the two halves bolt together. Then you can get the shroud in and out without taking the fan off.
