Radiator Mount Isolators

I have gone through quite a few radiators in my builds over the years and can't help but think the inherent flex in the frame might be hurting them.

I have an A-Bomb front center which caps the frame rails really nicely and I have to think limits flex, but replacing my radiator again and this time I want to mount some decent isolators or flex mounts that could help.

Any ideas, suggestions, or tricks people have used in the past?

Interesting you have trouble with that. My K5 and now the crew cab too have a lot of frame flex in the front but I haven't had radiator leaks. (quickly knocks on wood)

On the K5 it was bad enough to break 2 hood latches and 2 hood pin studs after I ditched the factory latch.
 
For all intensive purposes, the core support shouldn't twist up enough to pop a radiator. Unless, of course, it has severe rust or has been modified in such a way as to lose it's built in rigidity. Bad isolators could cause accelerated wear if they allow the radiator to bounce or shift in the mount, but the core support is one piece, and the radiator attaches only to that one piece...
 
um, yea so about that core support. It was hacked up pretty good to stuff the warn power plant winch in underneath.

Sounds like you found your problem. I think I would try to reinforce the rad support before I went down the rad mounting rabbit hole
