Radiator mounts

I want to put in a 4 core rad into my 88 K5 but want to know how many different style TOP mounts there are for said yr. Anyone have any ideas?

I can give you the part number of top plate you'll need. I bought one from the dealer a while back. The plate wasn't expensive either, something like 18.00 IIRC. Don't forget you'll also need 4 new isolator rubbers.

Dumb question cause I prolly already know the answer, but are they different from what I have in there stock now? I know about the rubber cushions.

Yes the brackets and the rubber mounts are different. I looked into putting a 4 core in mine.

going to a 4 core, everything is wider. Core support has provisions for either radiator.

I know all about the rad being thicker. I put a 4 core in my burb a few yrs back. Scott, the part that you got, will it be the same from your rig to mine?

Yes it will and it is part number 14018600. It is still available from the dealer and gmpartsdirect has it for $9.71.
