Have a 79 complete frontend im putting on a 84 body. There was no radiator when I bought it and there must be a million different sizes, I need help please.
Either I’m not allowed to put pictures on here or I’m just a dumb a$$ that can’t figure it out but I have some with a ruler next to the inside of front end my cell is 678-758-6099. If someone’s willing to help me out just text and I’ll send you the pictures I have and hopefully you can steer me in the right direction. Thanks

There are only 2 different dimensions for the height, so you need to decide how much cooling your truck needs. If you have a stock 350 without air conditioning, the short version, with 2 or 3 rows of tubes, should be fine with a proper tune and a good fan and shroud. More engine and A/C needs more radiator. And if you use the truck hard, get more cooling.

Theres zero reason not to get the biggest radiator you can fit. If you have a proper thermostat and bypass loop to circulate coolant for heat just get the biggest rad.

On a side note are you aware that a 79 nose will not just bolt on to an 84 cab?
