ok i know that i am getting a 102 whip when i get some cash, but what is a decent radio, ultimately i would love a maxed out radio. but dont have the $$$ to lay down. i just want a decent radio that can be tuned to get more distance. current radio and ant are only getting 1.5 miles..2-2.5 on highway if i am lucky.. i dont need to go sideband or 10 meter or all that. for the time being i am just wanting more distance.
