Hey! My Wife is gonna kill me!!

I'm picking up my 73 K5 Cheyenne Blazer tonight ($500) with my 80 K10. And, I just got offered a 72 K10 Scottsdale - for Free!! Kind of a come and take it deal.

Luckily, I have a 15 ft wide side yard about 130 ft long with a double 11 ft gate.

Wish I had more money to fix these up.

Here's the New toy:

I've wanted one of these since - well - 1973. $500 in a divorce "JUST GET THE DAMNED THIS OUTA HERE" deal. I need to throw 2 spares and a battery in it 'cause it's been sitting for over a year. But, it's gonna be a blast!

So, opinion time. Convert to 2WD and lower it or leave it on the lifts and leave it 4wd???

I been over on the 73-87 Pickup site for a couple years with my 80 K10. But, looks like I'll be frequenting this site, too!!

Update on the freebie.

Well the freebie is NOT a 72 K10 but is a 79 K10. Same specs as my 80.

I guess I'll take it. At worst, it'll be a donor for the 80.
