Well I have a 2" bodylift, and last time I was out, I got a pretty good scratch on one of my saddle tanks. So I raised them 2" so they are back under the body, and I am going to get some skid plates on them soon. Just thought I might post some before and after pics. And No, I don't want a burb/blazer tank in the rear/bed, I like dual tanks, even though the fillers are on opposite sides of the truck.

Thanks for that. Never thought of it. I guess I'll do that befor my sliders and skid plate.

wow that is sick.. im planning on maybe putting a body lift back on my truck... I am allowed 33" to the bottom of my door for inspection purposes.. so I want to do this.. but once I put a bl on I need side bars (nerf bars) as NJ inspection will fail me if the tanks hang down.. this is due to the supposedly blow up if hit from the side.... blah blah blah.....

just unbolted them, and drilled new holes, I just used nuts on the bolts though, since the nuts that are part of the bracket will be above the frame rails. It only took about an hour to do both sides.
