How much should i expect to pay for rally wheels?

i found a set for a $100 they are painted white and come with crappy tires and a 2wheel drives style center cap.

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pts/406426240.html

is this a good deal if i didnt like how they look could i turn around and get my money back?

IIRC a set at a junk yard goes for $50 a wheel

25 a wheel for used sounds expensive to me when you can get brand new wagon wheels for like 38 each.... see if you can get the guy to go lower, like 75

although, if hes not lying about the new center caps, that could be a deal too... depends on area

You can find them cheaper. Look around locally. Theres always someone who has a set and doesnt care for them anymore. They may even give them to you for free.

I certainly would NOT pay $100 for those rims with crappy tires on them considering you will be paying more to get the tires removed from the rims.

Tell the seller you would offer $75 for his rims and HE get the tires removed. Otherwise if he refuses, go down to $50 on his price.

Tire removal isn't exactly cheap nowadays. Just depends on where you go to get them off.

i heard somewhere that you can let the air out and put a board on it and drive on the tire.

or hell i got access to a tire machine when i go back to school.

if i can get them for $50 and i didnt like them would i be able to get my money back?or would i be out the money

Don't tell the seller you can get the tires removed. Just let him know you will be out of more funds if he don't remove them and you have to pay more.
$100 or less is the going rate for Rallyes WITHOUT tires.
You could get your money back easily if you find the right buyer. Try eBay and see what they sell for.

I wouldn't go for that price either. Ralley wheels should be easy to come by if you start looking. Do you really want that style or are you just looking for some new rims? As mentioned, you'll have to pay to dismount and dispose. You can dismount on your own with a board as you mentioned or with a highlift jack. Not too hard. I'm not sure how it is on your side of the state, but I only get charge a buck for car tires or 2 for truck at our local disposal site. If you aren't in a rush, go down to Jefferson (east of Madison) the week of September 22nd and 23rd. They have a huge swap sale that covers 99 acres. They have one in the spring and one in the fall. Lots of stuff to choose from. http://www.madisonclassics.com/

And also, if you are set on ralley's, I have several sets of centers in the garage I'd sell for little or nothing if you find some without. Just PM me.

Is there a company that makes 15x10 rallys?
Stockton Wheel makes custom wheels like that, I saw a truck at Summit Racing's Truckfest last year (I was a judge) that had 15x12 2WD rallys. It was pretty slick.

Thanks for reminding me. i missed the on in the spring. i also missed the Iola swap meet

I got a set of 4 Rally wheels with 3 good center caps for $60. No tires on the rims. They need to be cleaned and repainted, but they look to be fine in round.
