so how did this truck work out for you?
The steering isn’t as aggressive as the older models which is what I liked but it’s way better than the truck the dealership bought back.
Overall I love the truck.
There are several improvements.
The Harmon Kardon stereo I mentioned earlier makes my ears feel 20 years younger.
The headrests are now adjustable and weren’t in older models.
I ordered the air ride rear suspension which has a lowered position for trailering which I keep it in at all times because it just makes the front and rear level. Of course no matter how much weight is on it, it sits level.
No more headlights pointing toward the sky when it’s loaded.
The headlights turn with the steering wheel which was an original (Preston) Tucker innovation and an extra headlight comes on to the side when the wheel is turned sharp.
Another is the large infotainment screen which I appreciate most when I’m using Nav.
The only problem with this truck is that there is nothing that lets you sense the difference between 40 mph and 90 mph. It is a ticket getter.
Got pulled over last week doing 70 in a 55 where I know there are 2 troopers running radar a couple times per week. Talked my way out of a ticket and caught myself just in time the next day or he would have caught me at the same place again at the same speed.
I don’t drive it everyday because I have a company vehicle I run the miles up on.
