my brother is tired of the exaust leaks coming from the afterburner headers he bought and is going back to stock manifolds, he has a 350 in a 77 truck and we have a good set of ram horn exaust manifolds, will they work in this body style? i believe they cam from an old 72 truck we parted out. thanks

Bolt one up and check your clearance, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use them as long as the cast size is adequate.

Sorry, I thought he had some better pics of the ram horns, but I couldn't fond any. They are mounted in this pic though, although it really doesn't show them.

You may need to clearance the mount a tiny bit. I had to on my '91 crew. The angle-dump version fits perfectly.

I run them and you are supposed to have to clearance the driver motor mount but I have a good 1/8" of clearance.

tell him to buy a set of exhaust manifold gaskets (NOT HEADER GASKETS) and a pair of dead-soft aluminum collector gaskets. he'll never have to worry about leaks from the headers again.

Definitely use stock exhaust manifold gaskets on headers. My exhaust guy told
me this and at first i thought "yeah, right" but he was right.Since using them ,my headers have not leaked yet!:D
