i am going to get one soon. which do you think is better the warn 9500i or the ramsey 9500 platinum. there is a 200 dollar price difference so i did not know if it is worth the extra money to get the warn
thanks

I've only known one person with the Ramsey Plat & he had a lot of problems w/ it. He is on this board and might chime in with more info than I could give. Personaly, I like the Warn 8274-50, but that wasn't one you listed.

I have seen the guts of a Ramsey next to the guts of a Warn and I must say the gears in the Warn look way more precision type gears were as the Ramsey looked like stamped or molded/casted gears.
An example of what I am trying to explain is a Ring & Pinion set. Have you ever seen a cheaper set of R&P next to a high quality set of R&P? You can SEE the difference in quality.
So...........I vote WARN!!!

I love my Warn! I have a few friends with the REP8000 Ramsey and they have problems with theres.. I have never had a problem with my Warn..
