i jut was up at the tire shop a bit ago having one of the rider mower's tires replaced and they had a black and red two tone single wheel regular cab K30 pickup up on the lift, all stock original factory one not modified in one bit, a farmers truck
i first saw the rear axle and saw that it was a 14FF
so then i was like wait a minute most k20 in the 80s were 14Sf
so i looked at the fender badges and it said silverado 30, and they didnt say diesel or anything else, so that means its a gas one,
i was like hmmmmm
so i went around to look at the front axle and while i was doing that i said in front of the guys in there- "is this really a 1 ton"
one of the shop owners was like "yep"
i was like "hell yeah"
i couldnt tell what model transfer case it had in it by looking, it was dirty and stuff but it was a slip output, and didnt have the small shaft hole cover thing on the backside of the case,
just had the upper round cover, and the output shaft tail
what case should it have being a factory late 80's k30 ?
rare to see such a thing here, i dont think ive ever seen a single wheel k30 before,
or at least not an 80s one
rare stuff.. hmm..
thanks
