everytime i take the lady out, i gotta hear how rough the truck rides it seems a bit stiff, it will bounce you right out of the seat if your moveing along pretty good i told her i can proubly upgrade to the rancho 9000 series shock got any ideas on how to get a better or smoother ride will different shocks work working on a 88 k5 leaf springs in front and rear

i wont run any rancho shocks i run skyjackers on my cause i cant afford what i want doechtech sp?

I run the 9000's in the rear of my rig and you can adjust them so they are very soft or very hard or anywhere inbetween. How much spring lift do you have? Also what brand of springs do you have. The more lift using springs the harsher the ride quality is.

I have the big black cock shocks.... check out poly performance, they are much better than the ranchos that I used to have
gabe

i have a four inche spring lift no blocks i in rear. i had the 9000 before too i did like those shock alot, but i used them on a 2002 z71. can you tell the difference in the ride with the 9000s on your blazer than what you ran before

I used to have the Rancho 5000's and the big difference with the 9000's is i can now make them super soft or super hard by twisting the adjusting knob. The newest Rancho 9000 series are 9 position adjustable whereas the old ones were only 5 position adjustable. For instance the 9012 is a 5 position and the 99012 is a 9 position adjustable.

i have a friend that runs them on a jeep and he loves them, it was a smooth ride. but that wasnt a tank like we have
