Thanks to Rancho's lifetime limited warranty I just shipped my 9 year old obliterated, beaten down adjustable shocks for warranty exchange on todays adjustable, the RS9000. Anyone have them? How do you like the way they ride? Thanks!

I have them, and have put them on my blazer and my pickup truck... they are pretty good :) I never play with the adjustment though... just set them middle of the way...

I bought 4 rancho 9000 9 way adjustable for my 83, they work real good. i adjust the settings for on and offroad. I turn em up to limit some body roll with my alcans up front and then down for offroad. They seem to work good and do there job. I watched ebay and bought 4 14 inch travel 9000s for less that 150.00 new in the box.

Warranty..? I didnt know they had one.

They have a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. When I realized the old 9000 series were shot I started digging through the old paperwork and found the receipt with warranty claim. I got 4 new ones for my old ones plus the cost difference. Came out to about $33. per shock. Sounds like you got a good buy Rob!

I wasnt going to buy em at 1st, the guy had 2 sets on there and didnt have the hardware but had the bushings. I had to buy boots and the washers...lol. I was afraid with such a good deal that they werent what he said but i was wrong not even a nick, super old faded boxes tho. You will like em, the newer ones are supposed to be better.

So let me get this straight, you bought some 9000 Rancho shocks 9 years ago and they are dead so you turn them in under warranty and they made you pay the difference between what you originally paid and the current cost? If that is so they ripped you off. I swapped out my old worn out Rancho 9000's earlier last year and got the newest ones which are now called the 9000XL and they have a larger body, nitrogen filled and larger shafts and they did not charge my anything. A warranty is a warranty, you should not be charged any additional money based on the current pricing versus what you paid for them originally.

Now i need the new xl shocks...lol. Mine are too new tho and i dont have a receipt

Like I posted earlier, I have rs9000s on the back of my stock suburban... and even have the rs9000s on the back of my 63 nova, and soon putting the on the back of the wifes car. I like them

That's what I did on my Waggy with soft springs, 5 on road and 1-2 off road and 3 on the dunes.
