Well I just wrapped up my 52” spring swap along with several other things to get the vehicle running again. Lo and behold I start bolting the shocks on and the fronts end up like this

With the shock fully extended it just barely misses the mount by about 1/2”. Now this is no big deal, fair enough it gave me slightly more than 4” of lift, but then I was thinking..
If it’s fully extended and cannot go any further with it on the ground with no flex, how the f is it going to stretch when I keep a tire down???

Any shock suggestions? Ps I’m selling two rs5000 2-4” lift fronts. 5501 I think. Forget this, I read the sticky no it’s not for sale, don’t delete this lol

Did the shocks come with the lift springs or you got them separately?

Separate, I used stock rear 52” springs in the front. If anyone is wondering what to use after the swap you have to go to a 6-8” lift shock, or relocate the mounting tabs, possibly both.

Your going to have to swap to a new top mount and cycle the suspension to get your new shock length and positioning . The 52's have lots of droop.
