Not to get political or labeled a conspiracy theorist, etc.. Did anyone else get a C or K series not only because they are bad ass but because they also make a badass bugout truck? I don’t know about everyone with the LS swaps with a computer though.. haha!

I like mine because you can get a small block Chevy running with randon shit you can find in any junk car pile. If that will help in the end of the world or not we will find out.... I'll be sure and post up when it happens... oh wait...

The LS is tied for favorite mod I have done.

I was 5 years old picking up wrenches when my Dad first built the truck.

I know I just kind of gave the LS swap shit but I really want to do it as well. I just don’t know if it will run when the Russians come. Haha!

Wait, how are we all supposed to get a hold of each other when that happens?

I got mine because it was the first truck I remember my dad owning. And at the time they were in every junkyard in the world.

Which makes me consider parting mine out and moving to the 96+ bodies.

I remember my dad having a 72 longbed, green and white tow tone and I loved that truck! I think that’s what got it started for me. We don’t have any here in the Midwest, or at least where I am..

There's a few here in southern IL. My brother has 3 and lives in High Mount MO. But much less common than 10 years ago. But that's the nature of it.

My dad had a white 91 with the cargo doors, 33 BFG ATs and a swapped 454 with a cowl hood. Loved it as a kid. A suburban is an odd choice for a wheeler but I couldn't imagine another unit to wheel in. Plus the kids need room to fiddle around and sleep when it's parked.

I’m originally from sw Mo, damn near the AR line but I’m now up by KC and I can’t find anything up here.

I’m glad I’m to the point were 1 of 2 of mine can drive and the other isn’t far from it.

Where is high mount, I haven’t heard of it before?

I did some work at a powerplant right about AK a few years back. New Madrid. Drove there and back every day. Miserable. Lol

And it's just natural. They are becoming classic. It's a main reason why I'm wanting to get away from the TBI454 and square to the LS and 2000+ bodies. Just easier to find parts for. And it would almost be a shame to trash my almost perfect sub.

got mine cuz I was 16 and my dad being a chevy fan.. i wanted to be a chevy fan...
then my brother bought a chevy truck for $500... then a parts truck for $300... I gave him $150 for what was left of his parts truck and built that back up lol...
and we built it from a junkyard.

I fell in love with mine when I was riding in it at 4 or 5 years old. Don’t know why, just loved it. Wanted it when I turned 16 but that was nixed. The day finally came when I could get it and it was a done deal.

The more I learn the more I realize how awesome and capable these things are. I want to buy every one I see!

Sad thing is down here people do stupid sh!t to them and make them almost useless. Jacked up 20” with 44-49” tires and 10bolts. Beat to hell and back. Every now and then I decent clean one will pop up.

Well I bought mine in 92,was actually looking at a(ahem) bronco to buy, stumbled onto this blazer of mine, never looked at the Broncos again,so glad it happened, although I do have a excursion as well,,,,I do like that as well
