Random idea about side mirrors.

I was at the junkyard yesterday looking at side mirrors...it seems like most newer trucks have mirrors where our vent Windows are. Wouldn't it be possible to just weld in some sheet metal and bolt on any mirror we like? Maybe graft in the whole section and use the inside and outside trim.


I dismissed this idea for myself as I love my vent windows....

I've seen it done and it looks awful. Personally you're removing something genuine about our trucks. It's totally doable. But just dont. Lol

I have to agree. I saw a post of someone a while back that had some S-10 style mirrors on there K5 and I just wanted to wretch!!!! It looked even worse from the inside too.

I like my mid-2000s dumbo tow mirrors. They are on my tube doors. I've been playing with the idea of putting them on my full doors. Only thing stopping me, I never seem to use my full doors anymore.

I've been contemplating finding some FJ Cruiser mirrors and see how well they fit.
