Random part from my K5

Question for you guys...I have a 72 K5 Blazer and found this random part on my garage floor. Any idea where it came from? Is it important (I'd think so). I backed my truck out of my garage to sweep the floor. Found this small item (maybe an inch or 2 in length) and not sure where it came from. Looks like it's an end cap from a hose or something.

Looks like a breather/vent. Check diffs/transfer case or trans
P.S. nice 1st gen. Never seen you in the 1st gen section, come say hay and more pics of the rig.

yep I agree breather, i had one like that on the front diff.

out of the frt or rear breather hose for diff or poped out of th350 tranny bell housing area under the panel on the floor at top of tranny.
