that is sooo badass. are u making it so u can put a blazer top on the back? or just a soft top? siick truck though.

nice rig. I got a full size sub and was thinking of cutting the top that is a great design. how on earth did you get the ass end to look so good?

That's a nice truck. would be sweet as a "show" truck. :D If you cut the top off a sub like that do you have to reinforce the cab? When you cut the top off it makes the sub look shorter.

I'm pretty sure he shortened the entire body behind the rear axle, I have a '90 burb and it's got WAY more rear overhang.

Hey guys i appreciate all of your compliments and as you can see its not quite done in a few areas- i still need to paint all the new steering syst, install the grill and clean a few things up. As of now i took off the fender flares due to tire contact and its always changing as you all know.

As to your questions i really dont plan on installing a top i like the way its open on the trail and i never drive it on the street anymore. my t cases arent clocked due to the massive lift i installed while i was young and wierd( my mistake but thatll soon change also). Asyou can see i chopped the top but i shortened the frame 2 ft. 2 inches also then mated the rear tail lights and half doorsback to it so thats why it looks shorter to some of you. My new steering setup it very responsive it has 3.5 turns lock - lock but for somereason while in 4x4 and full lock to the left it is pulsating (i think the ram is gonna be hard to bleed with the lines pointing to the rear of the truck). If there is any more ?'s feel free to ask.

Do any of the texas guys plan on going wheeling anytime soon- my friends and I are ready to go have some fun so keep in touch.

Thanks again Ryan

I didn't even notice the 2 ft missing but it did look alot smaller than a burb... that thing is the perfect mix between a sub and a blazer. Hell if you did this in 87 and talked to gm they might have changed their mind about the length of a burb. that thing is pretty damn sweet.

Come check out austink5.com we plan a run just about every month, we are leaving for the den in san antonio tomorrow, not sure if your into rocks or not.
