In no particular order...

How much does a SRW 14BFF with drums (no wheels and tires) weigh?

How much does a rear 10B with drums (no wheels and tires) weigh?

How much does a front 10B with discs (no wheels and tires) weigh?

How much is a NIB set of Warn Premium Hubs for a 10B/D44 worth (ie how much would you pay)?

There may be more I just can't think of them right now...

I'm a cheap ass so while looking on Ebay I limited my self to $89 for NIB Premium hubs. Ended up gettin a pair of used ones for $24 tho ;) holla at that deal, and they are in great shape!!!

What size are the inner u-joints on a D60?
Is there yokes available to fit certain size u-joints to make every u-joint on a truck the same size?

I too had a buch of random questions but cant think of them all now.

ok i'll play. never used zero rates before. the way i take it the either push your front end forward or back. what do they do exactly??

what advantages do the hummer wheels have over any other wheel?

umm when i go to put on the shackle flip kit what is all involved?

i could probably find these answers by searching but if i type in what i'm looking for i always get a bunch of sh!t that has nothing to do with what i'm asking. Thanks

they push your front axle forward or backward. it can help with approach angles or recentering your rear axle after a shackle flip.

hummer rims are very cheap alternative beadlocks.

if its in a k5 you gotta remove the rear bumper ifyou got it and drop the tank. then you have to remove all the frame rivets then replace the stock hangars with the new brackets. then you need a zero rate to move the axle back into the center of the wheelwell. then if youre doing it for the first time you may need longer shocks and brake lines.

Thought of another...

What is the average thickness of the shim stack needed to set pinion depth on a 14BFF. When I got the axle it was all taken apart so I don't have a starting point - i'd hate to have to try a bunch of different combos before I get it right. I am guessing 0.015". Is that close?

my random question, why do you wanna know the weights?

10bolt rear, you want to know if it isn't too heavy to toss in the dumpster?

Yeah, I'd hate to throw out my back.....

No I'm just doing some number crunching (it's cheaper that actual wrenching!) and wondering what the axle weights are so I can come up with estimates for the sprung and unsprung masses.***NERD ALERT***

i was knida interested in those weights too. i just want to see how much going with one ton axles would effect the power to weight ratio. anybody know the weight of those axles?

i've never weighed the axles themself, but I had a 77 K20 with 33s, d44 14ff 350/sm465/np205 and it weighed 5500, and my 85 k10 with 10bolts 350/sm465/np208 with 33s weighed 5000. Not much difference considering some of the weight could have been fuel, plus I know the np205 weighs alot more than the aluminum 208. So axle weigh difference was probably only a few hunderd pounds at the very most
