I replaced the back 15” or so of my rear floor, came out pretty good I think. I have it sprayed with some high build primer right now. I’m planning to use Raptor liner or something on the whole floor at some point in the next 3-5 months. Given primer is porous, I have to topcoat it with something. I have the wheelhouses to replace as well at some point, not a real priority.

I know you have to have a pretty well scuffed/sanded surface for that stuff to stick. I assume a 200 or so sanded primer is good?

Anyone ever done bedliner in sections or do I wait and do it all at one time?

I guess my last option is to rattle can the primer with something and sand it again later.

Thanks,
Charlie

I would say top coat with a rattle can now. You'll need to sand for Raptor liner later anyway even if it's just to topcoat or tie in . Might as well sand and prep all at once and get a uniform coat of Raptor. Just make sure to use a suitable product so your Raptor will bond when it's time.
