Does any one know the gear ratio on a NP208 in low? Anothe question I had was, does any one use Atlas transfer case's ,and how do they compare?

Thanks!! :smile1:

Its in this section of the site , clicky , from the main page or navigation menu .

Look at the years that had np208's , it is 2.61:1 .

Not too many use atlas here , this is doubler country . Although it is a fine unit itself .

Someone here has one for sale I think  Wonder if he sold it :D

Thanks. About the double T-case's, what would I nead to hook to my NP208?? I was thinking about Atlas or double T-case's for my setup??

If you can afford an Atlas , you could buy a doubler and have change left over for other stuff , or gifts for your mate :thumb:

Basically you need to collect a np203 and np205 transfercase , and purchase a kit to mate the rangebox of the 203 to the 205 .

There are several vendors here who make kits , Off Road Design , Wagonner Machine , and Northwest Fab . THese are the avenues to look at .

And try a search , there are lots of posts on this .

I scored the cases for mine recently , and hope to do it myself later this year or early next year . I only get so much to use for parts with my bills and ol'lady:D

nonesuch (you can find him at http://AustinK5.net ) runs an Atlas and I run a Klune-V/205 combo. There are other options besides the doubler. A doubler can be built for pretty cheap, but the gearing options are limited and its a pretty heavy combo.
