Hi from Woodland Park,

Well, I tried looking for some input back in 2007 and got no response back...so here I go again.

When driving, and even at idle, there is a distinct rattle coming from my steering column. It's like a bearing is worn or something. Has anybody else had this happen and found a solution?

Many thanks,
Donnie B

You should check the joint at the bottom of the colum. It's right under the brake booster. If that is too loose, the rattle can come up the column. You will also see the lower bearing there, check all of it, shake things and see if you can make the noise.
