Twas a good run although only 3 rigs total. This is a mild trail in North Central Mass. My first time out with the new Blazer equipped only with stock axles and 31s. Was surprised how well it did in stock form. The Blazer got it's first bit of trail damage at the first obstacle (no pics but it was a steep climb up a rock face on the right with a dugout on the left). While climbing up the right side, the left side dipped down and rubbed a rock with the rear quarter. Actually I think the rock sustained more damage than the 22 year old steel sided Blazer. :D

Hey,

I'm also in mass. Looks like you found some good wheeling. How long can you spend on that trail? Where exactly is it?

That particular trail is closed as of the first of this year. The property owners got a real good tax deal to requalify the land as protected wildlife area. It's too bad too, we had permission to cut some new trails through those mountains before that deal went through.

I do wheel with a club, link in my sig, and we run trails that range from stock to modified vehicle capability. Being in Mass you may or may not know that most (almost all) wheeling in new england is on private land with permission from the owners. The best place to start would be to join a club and get involved. We have access to some really fun stuff.

We have a weekend camping/trail run coming up in May on some private land out in western Mass off the pike. But you have to be a club member to run on the private land runs (insurance protection for the landowners). I am on that site under the same user name. Feel free to log in over there and PM me with any questions you may have. Hope to see more K5s on the trail!!!
