Rausch Creek Sept 2014

Great pics! I wish I could have tagged along. What was the carnage report for the weekend?

Here are a few that I did take from the areas John has already covered

John was having an issues with his steering Saturday.

I heard Swetty smoked his ign coil Sunday which is funny cause I was convinced his truck was running rich or on 7 cylinders on Saturday. Now I'm thinking the weak coil was causing the problems.

My pass side rocker has some new dents in it and a couple more tree scrapes/dents down that side.

I think everyone got a new scrape or dent :D, John lost all power assist to his steering, Brian's truck (Swetty) decided to nuke the coil, I tried to rip the cab corner off of mine...but at the end they all made it out and home :waytogo:

Anytime you want come down and join us, I've got extra seats now !!!

Not to be taken as an insult....

Did I really just get the vote for least modified? :haha:
I think the 17" H2s make the 35s look like 33s.
And I am seriously lacking x-over steering and rocker protection. :D

Great trail leading
Great spotting by all (especially John :waytogo:)
Great group of people to hang with
Great mix of rigs
Great weather (a little too hot for me though)
And all in all a great time

Even though I had to leave early Sunday, I still had a lot of fun Saturday. My buddy Tom (with the 4runner) enjoyed coming out as well, thanks for having him along. Can't wait to see more pics

I thought it was actually very cool how you were able to run with a pack of trucks all with bigger tires.
You did a great job!
My comment really was meant as a complement and a well deserved one too.:waytogo:

Kelly and I ended up leaving Sunday morning too due to my steering problems.
It drove well enough to get home but new parts are already on order.

More Toyota

Missed the best photo opportunity, with the passenger side front tire way up off the ground.
Assistance was required to make sure it came back down.

Nice Rig!

This machine had the shortest drive of all of those who attended...
I'm so jealous!

Next obstacle.

The rock garden was on a steady hill climb (pics don't show it)

My roof rack kept the body off the tree...

Armstrong steering forced a straight line climb instead of picking a line.

Kelly was watching and not taking pics all the time.

Didn't get as many photos of every truck as we would have liked.
Some didn't turn out and so didn't get posted.

I miss the terrain of the northeast.... Someday... I'll drag my junk back for a trip! Nice pics and looked like a blast!

Awesome pics John!

I don't think my poor little MTRs will last very long. I've only had them on 4 months:doah:

And John, I wouldn't get anywhere without all the excellent spotting.

Kelly did well on this one too!

No stalls, just a nice steady climb all the way from start to finish!

This is the only picture I took this weekend.

Those tires have seen a pile of road and trail.

Thanks for the complement Rich but it really does depend on a good driver to make it up some of these challenging spots.

If my efforts helped then I'm glad to have been of assistance.

Rich made another smooth steady climb.

This was a very long run from the fallen tree to the top of the hill.
Once again pics don't do it justice.
