OK, looks like I will be able to make this road trip happen. :woot:Heard today they are NOT selling the dealership I work for so no immediate changes are being made (till next month).

I've never been there and need some info....

Camping. On site? Primitive or facilities? Fire? I have a giant tent I can bring.

Food. Stores nearby to get food/bev/supplies/etc? Place to get ice for a cooler? Should I bring my camp grill? Anything else?

Gas/fuel. Nearby?

Anything else I need to know or prepare for?

Glad you're gonna make it out man! I'll give you some insight here.

Camping is on site and primitive. They have porta potties on site, but that's it. They also have a few pumps where you can air up which is nice. Fires are allowed, they have rings on the sites. Bring your tent and a tarp, it may rain.

Food, I would pack what you think you'll need. It's not to far from a gas station, but I am not sure if there is anything else around. I never have had to go into town or anything, so take that for what it is worth. I am sure some of the other guys will chime in. There are a few gas stations close by and the beverage outlet is a good place to get ice. Bring your grill, a cooler, and a few camp chairs for the fire.

Fuel is right down the street. Price for the park is 35 bucks a day, 7 dollars for passengers, and youre gonna need to spring 15 bucks for the membership fee, but thats a once a year deal. Any other questions, let me know

Glad to hear you can make it :waytogo:

Swetty pretty much covered the answers already.

OK thanks! all good to know.

Any running water on site to wash hands or brush teeth or whatever?

No, but I always bring a 5 gallon cooler for camp and i have a 7 gallon container in the rig. Some hand cleaner or soap is a good idea as we all seem to forget it every time :doah::haha:
