Re-directing funds to my K5

All this trail ride talk is about to drive me crazy. Any ideas on how I can justify to my wife and banker putting off house and vehicle payments, real estate taxes, utilities, food etc, so I can finish my black beast and go for a road trip to a K5 Bash?

Tell your wife that you need to finish the truck so that you can use it to hunt and fish wich would cut the cost of food leaving more cash for the bills. But remember to keep a straight face.

Better yet tell her how much money you'll be saving by doing all the upgrades and work yourself. Explain how that Dana 60 will never ever break...and that properly built a K5 will last a lifetime. So much cheaper than owning a disposable car and making $500 a month payments.
Not only that but she'll always know where you are (garage vs. the bar...

)
