So after procrastinating most of the summer im finally getting to regearing my front dana 60 to match my rear i did earlier this summer. here is my pattern so far any pointers? Im thinking it may be to close / deep or too far to the root and toe but wanted some input before i make more adjustments. Its a dana 60 front and currently has between 7 and 8 thou back lash and pinion bearing preload is about 17inlbs with no seal installed and one old race installed on the pinnion. Thanks for any input mike
Final check with new bearings and such. Ive got 6 thou back lash spec says 4-9 so good there pinion bearing preload is 32in lbs spec says 20-40 i think its good to run but here is the final pattern ( hopefully) looks with new bearings like it may be a tiny bit more twords to but i think it good?
