Dually or single rear wheel?

Single should be a D60/D60 combo.

Trans...NP435 and a 205 I believe?

its a single wheel. i'll take the drive later this week to find out for sure.

thanks for the quick reply.

I thought they got 70's in the rear, but the 70 might have come later

Nope. Unless they did something different than the later years the small block V8's got a Dana 60 and the duallies and the diesels got a larger Dana. Not sure what the 440's got in the 70's.

Well it wasn't a d60. It looked to have a d44 with flat tops. It was full time 4x4 too. The truck was a 350 custom power ram. I thought for sure they would have a d60 up front. It did have a 60 in the rear. Bummer. They only wanted 300bux for the whole thing too!

Did you check the casting in the front axle?

i didn't. Ike has been dumping rain here all night and most of the morning. didn't feel like crawling in the mud. it had flat tops. pumkin was way to small along with the hubs. its probably a good set up for someone. i already have a 14bolt and matchibg 10b. if anyone is interested i can get more info. probably going by there next weekend.

Funny part is my brother lives in St Louis and I need to call him...

It's raining here too, not as much as you guys but I know the feeling. Should be in the garage but that necessitates opening the door to get the truck out and then the rain comes in and blah...sniffwhinesniffblah...

I'm thinking someone already stole the D60 out of the front of that truck.
