I really love working on a truck from Florida. 21 years old and the bolts spin out as if installed last week. :cool1:
As anyone from Canada or the northern states can attest, it's pretty hard to get anything done sometimes without a cutting torch. This project might actually lower my blood pressure for once.:wink1:

ya those western and southern guys arent really mechanics, they r more like "disassemblers and assemblers":p: :D but dont get me wrong, im 100% jealous of those guys.:bow:

I totally understand what you mean. After wrenching on k5's from MD, PA, and VA I had enough of dealing with the rust and rot soo, my current build project I bought from TX. I actually enjoy working on it, even when laying underneath, I dont need safety glasses a face sheild and a respirator to remove a shock bolt!:D;)

I instead decided to just replace everything other than the frame and firewall.... :doah::o:(:haha:
 
Well since I love in Bama I can completely agree!!! Haha but not everything just unbolts so now your gonna run into that one bolt that kicks your butt!!

the only one that i have had trouble with is the outer nut on the gas tank strap.
