Rear 4" lift 56" spring question/ shackle mount question

Ok so I have found the answer to my earlier post about my spring. I bought a used all spring 4" lift off of craigslist. Got the front all done but ran into a problem with the rear. The rear springs are 56" springs and my stock k5 had 52" springs. Does anyone have any pics or advice as far as moveing the rear shackle mount ? Any pics for referance would be great.

just move the hanger back about 4". it'll ride better with the longer springs.

Thats what I was guessing. Just want to make sure before I go and start cutting and drilling.

edit-- in a blazer, you'll have to drop the tank.

Ok so I crawled under there today to check things out and looks like I have a issue with my hitch. The bracket underneath on the backside of the shackle mount can that be removed and left off ? I would like to keep my hitch.

i would modify it somehow and put it back on.
