Rear A/C in a K5 ?

you cannot make a removable ac rear ac setup, the TWO lines run up the rear passenger side pillar feeding the ac unit, you cannot make "quick-disconnects, you'll loose pressure and have to refill the system everytime you remove it from the roof...

now if you had a floor mounted unit, like an aftermarket style, then yeah, it won't utilize any part of the roof, so no need for removing anything.

you sure do like that sarcastic smiley,

i simply said you can't make it removable, and never mentioned anything about whether or not the lines were hard or rubber.

if you want to redneck it and lay sh!t on the floor for potential damage to occur, well then that's the way to go then.

otherwise if you're going to spend the time and money, i would suggest just getting an aftermarket, or one of the older factory style i have seen that are mounted on the floor in the corner.

i don't remove my top. that is why i put this rear air in and the rear heat. it just makes the passengerss rading in the rear on a hot ady happy campers and on cold winter day warm and toasty.
