Gentlemen,
I will be replacing the 10 bolt rear axle on my 1986 K5 with a custom
Dana 60. The new Dana 60 will have the 6 lug pattern to keep the 15
inch wheels. I'll also be running drum brakes. What is the ideal width
that the rear axle should be from the outside drum face to outside drum
face? The stock 10 bolts are "narrow" and I'd like something wider to better
compliment the front axle width. Thanks in advance.
