So in my searches for parts i have found myself this: http://nh.craigslist.org/pts/3614561682.html

Ive talked to the guy and he claims it will fit any lift from 6"-14", and also it will fit 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton rear axle and any transfer case that the driveshaft slips into. Is this true, i thought yokes were different? Sorry im pretty clueless when it comes to yokes and driveshafts, i havent studied up on them yet...

Or is it a better idea to wait and make or have made one that will work for my setup, as my drivetrain is not in my truck yet...

He's wrong. Driveshaft length for a 6" lift is different han for a 12"+ lift. Also the yoke to yoke distance can be different depending on trans/t-case combo vs rear axle. U-joint size can vary as well.

He *might* have a good part that's worth buying but there is no guarantee it will fit.

okay, seeing as how i am not at that point yet and would be pulling cash from stuff i need it for right now, i think this will wait. I will study up and figure out exactly what i need. thanks for the quick response.
