I have been searching for at least a year for rear seatbelts (the male ends that bolt to the floor) and I have had zero luck. No junk yard has them, noone on craigslist will part with them, nearly everyone who said they would sell me a set never came through. I dont like to "rig" something up, especially something like seatbelts, but I am facing the music that I wont find anything factory. So what I am asking is if you bought aftermarket seatbelts can you post specifically what you bought and how you installed it? Obviously safety is my biggest concern as my kids are who will be riding in the back. I am not a fabricator and so it needs to be bolt in basically. I dont have the cash to swap in a new bench seat with built in belts right now. My truck is a 1990 k5 and it appeared to have 3 point belts but I will settle for 2 or 3 point just need something FINAL. So lets see what you bought. (part numbers are bonus points)

something like this maybe?

I wonder if the 3rd seat suburbans use the same seat belts.

not the 3 point setup anyhow. I bought a set on ebay that were listed "suburban or k5 blazer" but they were different. the suburban 3 points have 2 mounting holes and the blazer only has one.

I know a few people here "just bought theirs online" but I dont know what exactly they bought and I just cant afford to throw money at it. the link I posted looks pretty close to what I would need. Id just like something more concrete to go on.

I'm going to look at a burb for it's 56" springs. It has a tan interior and the 3rd seat with belts. Need to know if they are the same and if you want them. Obviously I can check if they are similar, but I'd like an opinion first.

yeah but aren't you just looking for the lower male end that bolts to the floor? I don't really know how those 3 point setups are ran.

the 3 points in suburbans are similar to the fronts but they are backwards to the blazers. the female end is stationary and the male end is retractable.

here are literally the ones i bought from a suburban. the part that bolts to the floor isnt male or female.

I'm sorry to ask for clarification, but I don't understand how the three points in the K5 rear were setup. Was the retractor on the ceiling, the other fixed portion (edit: the piece that is the other anchor for the retractor portion) on the floor, and the female end in the seat fixed?

The two points were fixed male on the floor, with the female portion moving and part of the seat. At least as memory serves me.

My solution, if you just need something, would be to find an older K5 seat, and swap it in. I assume they are a direct replacement. Finding the male belt ends themselves should be pretty easy, and still see the seats on craigslist fairly often, although if you were picky on color that would obviously make it tougher. Only hard part is getting the damn things out of the truck. I've broken a few T47's doing so.

From what I've seen, most of the aftermarket stuff isn't all that great, and on top of that, if you are limited for cash, the factory seat/belt ends is probably cheaper.

I am not 100% sure because I have never laid my eyes on it in real life lol just on the internet.
From what I can tell retractor bolted to the top, the opposite end bolted to the floor where the male end on the 2 points are normally and the male end attached to a non-retractable piece on the bench seat.

I dont need an older k5 seat to swap in, that would not do me any good. I already have everything setup for 2 points in the truck now except the male ends that bolt to the floor. Everything else that bolted to the seat is still there. Previous owner cut the bolt head off and bedlined right over it.
Everyone says finding the male ends will be really simple and I have yet to have anyone be able to come up with a set. cant stress this enough, everyone laughs and makes a phone call and says "Ill getcha a set right now!"

I have asked nearly every craigslist add I could find from the east cost to the west coast and either noone will ship, they are already gone or arent willing to part out.
At this point it would be easier to have someone make a cage in my truck that had car seat attachment points lol

You have a 90 or 91 top your working on or is you rig a 90-91. This is the only way you have this setup.

Truck is a 1990. I have no idea if the top is stock or if the bench is stock or what. The bench has everything setup for 2 points
If I had a complete 3 point set I could make it work I think.

if the top is stock you will find midway back over the window a raised area with two captured nuts for the retracter to bolt to. i had a complete set , but i gave them to Kennyw with the set of seats.

A member sent a set of 3 points to me. I will try to find em pm your address. Might take a bit to find em considering we just moved

I know this is a very old post but the solution I found was https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/ They have brand new belts for many of our trucks. Mike there is a wizard, he helped me get belts all around for my Toyota Landcruiser and they worked out great. I just placed an order for first and second row belts for my Suburban and will post a review when I get them installed.

Some interesting options there. https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/ag-1781674.1781684.1781704-1985-chevy-blazer.html

I like the newer design inspired braided cable seat belt ends for the front (although the bolt ends don't appear to be bent properly?). The plastic setup has always sucked.
