Alright, Whats the freaking trick to putting these things in? I got one back in the rubber after almost 3 hrs of working on it. I have no Idea how I'll get the trim locking strip back in. What do you do to make this go easier? Call A Window Guy?

BTW I'm putting sliders in my 75 thats why I'm doing this.

There is a tool for putting in the lock trim. Sort of a shoe horn that fits the trim and opens the location for it as you push it around. If ya know a body shop guy, they'll probably loan it to you. Only other thing I have had luck with is a pair of plastic popsickle stick looking things. No idea what they were really for. It is way better with the tool.

EDIT: OH, yeah, use some dish soap as lubricant.

i changed over to sliders myself. not a good idea but i left the trim out:whistle: figure one day it'll pop out but i pushed pretty hard on it and it didn't go anywhere :dunno: i've done it before but just didn't have the right tool. screwdriver didn't work too well

5 min.. Thats all it took the guy to put the locking trim back in the driver's side and completly remove the passenger side glass, put the slider in, and put the locking strip in. I also got him to switch a tinted rear glass I had in to the track of the clear i had installed in my truck.

Wasn't worth me waisting my time when it took me 3hrs just to put one slider in.
