I am starting to build my 89 blazer and have a few questions that may have been asked already probably a million times.i found a 14bolt ff out of a 98 heavy duty suburban. The seller says it has 410 ratio just what i need. What should the measurements be drum to drum to fit my blazer. Is there any difference from an older vehicle rear as far as width? I asked him about spring perches. He said he would make the adjustments if given the degree of angle.what is stock angle. I would like to know before i go to see it saturday and make a deal.

Generally yo would want a 14bff out of any 3/4 ton truck or sub for your year blazer. Being that your donor is such a late model I'm not 100% sure. The spring purches on the burb should be 42.5" center to center, the same as your current set up for your half ton axle.
